Lucas A. Williams (Luke) is an associate at Billing, Cochran, Lyles, Mauro & Ramsy, PA. His practice is focused on defending insurance carriers and their insureds in civil litigation matters such as automobile negligence, premises liability, construction defect, and medical malpractice.
Originally from Indiana, Mr. Williams earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University. He then earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School where he was the Online Editor of the Environmental Law Review. He served as a certified law clerk for the US Attorney's Office and prosecuted misdemeanors on behalf of the United States in the US District Court for the District of Oregon.
Prior to being admitted to the Florida Bar, Mr. Williams practiced in Oregon where he primarily represented plaintiffs in civil litigation claims involving personal injury, premises liability, and real property disputes. His experience serves as invaluable insight into the plaintiffs' perspective that now gives an advantage in defending the same types of cases at all stages of litigation.
