Ginger E. Wald is a partner at Billing Cochran, P.A., who has built a reputation as a trusted, strategic problem solver for local government and land development challenges. With over thirty years of practicing law, Ginger focuses a primary portion of her practice on creating community development districts throughout the state of Florida, navigating intricate state regulations and local regulations required to establish, finance, and secure public infrastructure for master-planned communities.
Ginger's unique professional background spans roles as an insurance defense trial attorney, an assistant city attorney for the City of Fort Lauderdale, counsel to other local governmental entities and assisting developers with local government processes. During her tenure with the City of Fort Lauderdale, she drafted substantial overhauls to local code enforcement ordinances, later serving as Vice President of the Code Enforcement Section for the International Municipal Lawyers Association. This deep immersion in both public policy and private growth enables her to anticipate administrative roadblocks, build consensus, and deliver efficient, actional solutions for builders, special districts and municipalities alike.
An alumnus of the University of Florida College of Law, Ginger is admitted to practice before multiple federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
