For 40 years, John W. Mauro has successfully litigated on behalf of hospitals, corporations, insurance companies and doctor groups in medical malpractice and professional liability. He has also been retained to represent pharmaceutical retailers throughout the state of Florida. His focus on these practice areas has resulted in a fine reputation in the defense of catastrophic injury claims and an impeccable trial record.
Representing several of the nation's largest hospital corporations and numerous insurance companies, Mr. Mauro defends individual physicians and hospitals and other healthcare providers in medical negligence cases. He also handles medical staffing litigation and counseling, and represents healthcare professionals before the Department of Health and the Board of Medicine.
Mr. Mauro is frequently asked by both hospital and insurance clients to conduct seminars and in-service presentations on a wide variety of topics. These topics have included overviews of Florida law, risk management, and medical documentation.
